The Redwyne Straits are the sea passage that separates the Arbor from the rest of Westeros, and the only way to reach Oldtown from the island.
Along their shores lie the towns of Vinetown, Starfish Harbor, and Ryamsport, small settlements exposed to whoever controls those waters.
Chapter 1
No fleet to guard them

When the Redwyne fleet leaves its post to sail for Dragonstone, the straits are left with no one to watch them. Dozens of longships crewed by ironmen cross the waters and fall upon Vinetown, Starfish Harbor, and Ryamsport, along with other islands that have no way to defend themselves.
The crossing that had until then served as a safe route between the Arbor and Oldtown lies open to raiders for as long as the ships that used to patrol it are gone.
