Vinetown

Vinetown is a port village on the Narrow Strip of the Vale, in the Shallows, the stretch of coast that faces the sea across from the Shield Islands.
It is one of the smaller settlements along that coast, and its harbour made it useful as a military foothold during the war that shook the region.

When the Shield Islands fell, the ironborn did not stop there: they crossed to the coast of the Shallows and seized Vinetown.
The village became one of their bases, a foothold from which to hold their grip on the Narrow Strip of the Vale as the war went on.
