Ellyn Ever Sweet
On this tab
Ellyn Ever Sweet appears in legend as one of the daughters of Garth Greenhand, and her story explains the origin of House Beesbury.
Hers is the tale of a bargain struck with a legendary creature in exchange for the honey that gave her line its name and trade.
Pact with the Bee King
Legend holds that Ellyn's love of honey was so strong that she journeyed into a mountain that held an immense hive, ruled by a being known as the King of the Bees.
There she struck a bargain with him: in exchange for the honey, she and her descendants would watch over his children for all generations to come.
The tale names her as the first keeper of bees, and it is from that trade and that pact that House Beesbury takes its origin.
