Farman
Farman was the Lord of Fair Isle and head of House Farman during the reigns of Aenys I and Maegor I Targaryen, in the early years of Targaryen rule over Westeros.
His name became tied to the dispute over the crown between Maegor and Prince Aegon, Aenys's elder son, the side for which Farman took up arms.

When King Aenys I Targaryen died and the crown passed to his brother Maegor ahead of the late king's elder son, Prince Aegon, Lord Farman sided with the passed-over prince.
As Lord of Fair Isle and head of his house, he threw his strength behind the faction contesting Maegor I Targaryen's claim to the throne.
Chapter 2
The battle beneath the Gods Eye

In 43 AC, Lord Farman fought alongside his eldest son and his grandson Ser Franklyn among the forces loyal to Prince Aegon against King Maegor I Targaryen, in the battle fought beneath the Gods Eye.
He died in the battle together with his eldest son. The lordship of Fair Isle then passed to his younger son, Marq Farman.
