Tarth
Tarth was a princess of the island of Tarth and, through her marriage, queen of the Stormlands.
With her, Tarth ceased to be an independent domain and became part of the Storm Kingdom.

The wedding that annexed an island

She was the daughter of Edwyn Tarth, King of Tarth and Evenstar. She married Durran Durrandon the Just, King of the Stormlands, and through that marriage took the title Queen of the Stormlands.
The marriage had a consequence that outlasted the couple themselves: Tarth, an independent island until then, was annexed to the Storm Kingdom.
