When Aegon the Conqueror crossed the Narrow Sea, the lord of Pinkmaiden of that age offered him his swords against Harren Hoare, turning his back on the Iron King.

Battle of Tumbleton
Generations later, another lord of the house threw his lot in with Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen when the realm split in two over the throne.
His heir carried that oath to the field at Tumbleton, fighting in the second clash for the town. There the fire of the dragon Vermithor caught him, and he burned to death beneath his own banner.

Tourney of the Hand
Centuries later, when the knights of the realm gathered for the Tourney of the Hand, the house's dancing maiden appeared once more among the dozens of banners flying over the field.
