Old Anchor is the seat of House Melcolm, a small castle in the Vale of Arryn where a river meets the Narrow Sea, east of the Eyrie.
It is mostly known as a waypoint along that coast, between Ironoaks and Rune Stone.
Location
The castle stands on the eastern coast of the Vale of Arryn, at the mouth of a river flowing into the Narrow Sea, east of the Eyrie. It is the seat of House Melcolm.
Ironoaks lies to the west. To the south, across a small bay, sits Rune Stone.

Visit of Lysa Tully
Lady Lysa Tully passes through Old Anchor on the journey back to the Eyrie, after marrying Lord Petyr Baelish at the small stronghold he holds in the Fingers. Her niece Sansa Stark travels with her in the same party.
