Vaes Khadokh (Essaria)
Vaes Khadokh is the Dothraki name for a ruined city west of the Dothraki Sea — what remains of Essaria, a colony built by the Valyrian Freehold.
The Dothraki razed it during the Century of Blood that followed the Doom of Valyria, and it has been remembered since as the Lost Free City.

Essaria began as a colony of the Valyrian Freehold, linked by a Valyrian road to other settlements in the region, including Qohor to the west and Saath to the north.
After the Doom of Valyria came the Century of Blood, and amid that chaos the Dothraki razed the colony. It has since been known as the Lost Free City.
Its current name is Dothraki: vaes means city and khadokh means corpse, so Vaes Khadokh translates roughly as the city of corpses.
