Beric Dondarrion House of the Dragon
Not to be confused with Beric Dondarrion.
Beric Dondarrion is the Lord of Blackhaven and head of House Dondarrion, a title he inherited from his father, Lord Simon Dondarrion.
His name is tied to one of the more memorable moments at Storm's End: the gathering of suitors summoned to seek the hand of Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen.

Boremund BaratheonAmong the lords gathered at Storm's End to put themselves forward as husbands for Rhaenyra Targaryen was Beric Dondarrion. He made the most of the moment, speaking at length about his castle, Blackhaven, and even invoking the name of Queen Alysanne Targaryen to lend weight to his suit.
The princess answered his courtship with a jab at his age. Boremund Baratheon stepped in to rebuke her for the lack of decorum. Rhaenyra held her ground, saying it was far more improper for a man older than her own father to present himself as a suitor.
