Dondarrion
Dondarrion was the title held by the lord of Blackhaven during the reign of Daeron II Targaryen, at the head of a house settled near the Red Mountains. His name became tied to the campaign that put an end to the Vulture King's raids along that frontier.

This lord of Blackhaven inherited the title House Dondarrion held under Daeron II Targaryen. His son, Ser Manfred, later said his father loved telling the story of their line's origin, though that tale itself has not survived.
Chapter 2
The hunt for the Vulture King

In 206 AC, Dondarrion joined Lord Pearse Caron in raising a host against the Vulture King, who had long harried the region from the Red Mountains. Together the two lords drove him from his territory, burning it as they went.
Ser Arlan, of the Coin Tree, served in that campaign alongside his squire Duncan.
