Desmond Crakehall is the Lord of Crakehall and head of his house in the television series, where he appears in a single brief scene trading jibes with Ser Eldrick Sarsfield.
No character by that name exists in the novels: there, the title belongs to Roland Crakehall.

Desmond and Ser Eldrick Sarsfield pass Tyrion Lannister and Sansa Stark, newly married, on a terrace of the Red Keep and mock them as they go by.
Sansa and Tyrion, in a comic vein, spend a moment afterward dreaming up ways to pay them back.

Absent from the books
In the novels there is no Desmond Crakehall: the title of Lord of Crakehall and command of House Crakehall belong to Roland Crakehall.
The two characters occupy the same place within their house, but the show replaces the novel's version entirely.
