Falena Stokeworth
Falena Stokeworth was the first mistress of Prince Aegon Targaryen, before he came to wear the crown as the fourth king of his name.
When the affair came to light, she was married off to the royal master-at-arms and sent from court with a new title: Lady of Harrenhal. She returned to King's Landing years later, when her husband was named Hand of the King, and the court began talking about her again.

Falena was seven years old when she might have been presented to King Aegon III at the ball where he was to choose a new wife. She never made it there: an accident broke her leg before the event and kept her off the list of candidates.
Chapter 2
The prince's first mistress

In 149 AC, Falena became the first mistress of the then-Prince Aegon, the king's nephew, and it was she who initiated him sexually. She was ten years older than him; he was only fourteen.
Two years later, a knight of the Kingsguard caught the two of them together in bed. The prince's father acted quickly: he married Falena to his own master-at-arms, Lucas Lothston, and persuaded King Aegon III to name Lothston Lord of Harrenhal, moving the young woman away from court.

The plan removed Falena from King's Landing, but it did not end the affair: over the following two years, Prince Aegon rode out to Harrenhal often to see her.

The return to court

In 178 AC Falena returned to the court at King's Landing, this time at her husband's side: Aegon IV, now king, had named Lucas Lothston his Hand. She brought her daughter Jeyne with her.
At court it was rumored that the king shared his bed with mother and daughter together.
