Falyse Stokeworth

When war broke out against the North, Falyse stayed put at court in King's Landing. Court gossip had it that her tongue was as sharp as any enemy's, and there was no shortage of people who mocked her for supposedly looking like a fish.

She attended King Joffrey's name day tourney alongside her mother and her sister Lollys, and turned up in the capital again just a day before Stannis's fleet came up the Blackwater. During the battle she sheltered with them inside Maegor's Holdfast, far from the walls where the city's fate was being decided.

Years later, already married to Ser Balman Byrch for a decade without children, she traveled with him to King's Landing for Lord Tywin Lannister's funeral. By then Queen Cersei had set her sights on the couple, meaning to use them to get rid of Bronn, the sellsword now ruling Stokeworth by marriage to Lollys — and who had rubbed salt in the wound by naming her bastard son Tyrion.

The road back to Stokeworth was no easier: a ward of Lord Gyles Rosby kept her laid up sick in his castle, and sparrows harassed her along the way. When Cersei's scheme was finally set in motion it fell apart — Bronn killed Ser Balman and threw Falyse off the lands that should have been hers.

She returned to King's Landing to beg Cersei for men to retake the castle. The queen, unwilling to let the conspiracy's failure damage her own standing, handed her over to Qyburn, who took her down to the black cells of the Red Keep for his experiments. When Cersei later considered sending her back to Stokeworth to claim it from Bronn, Qyburn told her Falyse could no longer even feed herself.

Qyburn went on using her for his experiments while Cersei weighed what to do about her and about Stokeworth, which Bronn now ruled in her place.

Falyse died screaming in the black cells of the Red Keep, a victim of those same experiments.
