Ronnel Penrose was lord of Parchments and sat on Daeron II Targaryen's council as Master of Coin.
He is remembered chiefly for his marriage to Princess Elaena Targaryen, a match arranged to serve the crown, from which four children were born.
Marriage to Elaena
Ronnel Penrose's marriage to Princess Elaena Targaryen served King Daeron II's political interests, and the crown pushed the match forward. Already lord of Parchments in his own right, Penrose became Elaena's second husband through that union.
Together they had four children: Robin, Laena, Jocelyn, and Joy.

As Master of Coin, Ronnel held a seat of real weight on Daeron II's council, though the actual bookkeeping fell to Elaena. Court gossip knew she was the one running the kingdom's finances.
