Krazaaj Zasqa (white Mountains)

Krazaaj Zasqa, Dothraki for "the White Mountains", is the stretch of Essos's great mountain range where cold and altitude reach their harshest extremes, scoured by winds sweeping down from the Shivering Sea.
Dothraki tradition places here the jhogwin, stone giants now surviving only as legend.
Location and Geography
Krazaaj Zasqa forms the northern end of the Mountains of the Bones, the range that splits Essos in two and separates the Dothraki Sea to the west from the Great Sand Sea and the Plains of the Jogos Nhai to the east. It runs from the Shivering Sea south to where it eventually meets the Steel Road.
The height and the freezing winds coming off the sea make this stretch the harshest part of the whole range. Following the range south leads to the Howling Hills and, beyond them, the city of Kayakayanaya.
Of its snow-capped peaks only the Dothraki memory of the jhogwin survives, stone giants said to have made their home there in ancient times.
