Alynne Connington is the younger sister of Ronnet Connington, lord of Griffin's Roost, and daughter of Ronald Connington.
Her story survives through a single episode, the moment the war reached her own home and placed the Connington children under the command of a relative they barely knew.

When Jon Connington takes Griffin's Roost, Alynne is among the prisoners left inside the castle. She weeps on learning her situation, and it is her uncle who promises she will come to no harm as long as her brother Ronnet does nothing foolish.
That same night, Jon invites Alynne and the other young Connington children to the feast celebrating his victory, hoping to get to know the family the war has returned to him. The gathering ends quickly: her nephew Ronald Storm warns him that his father will kill him, and Jon sends the children back to their rooms.
