Owen Costayne
Owen Costayne was the lord of Three Towers and head of House Costayne during the Dance of the Dragons, the civil war that split the Targaryens into two camps.
His choice to side with Rhaenyra led him to try to cut off the march of one of the great armies loyal to the rival king, commanded by Ormund Hightower.

The lord of Three Towers takes Rhaenyra's side

Owen Costayne led House Costayne and ruled Three Towers when the king's death split the realm into two camps. Costayne chose Rhaenyra's side.
When the war reached the Reach, he joined his forces with Alan Beesbury's to block Lord Ormund Hightower's march toward Oldtown. The move left Costayne's troops caught between two enemy armies.

The Battle of the Honeywine

Costayne fell at the Battle of the Honeywine, where Jon Roxton dealt him a mortal wound with Orphan-Maker.
He died in the year 130 after the Conquest, with the host he had led to encircle Hightower broken apart between the two fronts surrounding it.
