Aegon Blackfyre was born in 184 AC, the elder of the twins Daemon Blackfyre had with Rohanne of Tyrosh. His father named him heir and kept him as his squire.
His twin brother Aemon held that same role, and the two grew up in the shadow of a father who was grooming them to inherit his place.
