Devan Seaworth

At Dragonstone, Devan was among the king's squires when Melisandre set fire to the castle's old idols; he stood at the king's side and helped wrap Lightbringer when Stannis pulled it from the flames.

He then went with Stannis to the siege of Storm's End, and when the death of the king's brother Renly left Stannis plagued by nightmares, Devan tried to help him through them.

During the Battle of the Blackwater he stayed at Stannis's side until the fighting was over, and was among the last of the king's men pulled out by the Lysene galleys, or so Salladhor Saan told it afterward.

Back on Dragonstone, he took lessons from Maester Pylos alongside Edric Storm and Shireen Baratheon.

When Stannis left the south to march for the Wall, Devan went with him and remained part of his household once they reached Castle Black.

At Castle Black, one time Devan went looking for Lord Commander Jon Snow so he could meet with Stannis, the direwolf Ghost cornered him to sniff him out; the boy froze in fear until Jon arrived and called the animal off.

When the king marched south to face the Boltons, Devan stayed at the Wall attending Melisandre, who did not want Davos to lose another son. He seems half in love with the red priestess, though it weighs on him to be left behind while the army marches without him.
