House Buckler of Bronzegate is a noble house of the Stormlands, seated at Bronzegate and sworn to House Baratheon since the War of Conquest.

What little is known of it comes down to a single episode from that war, fought while it still answered to the storm kings rather than the Baratheons.

Ambush at the Wendwater

As Orys Baratheon pushed his vanguard toward Storm's End, the lord of Bronzegate joined Errol and Fell in falling on him while his men forded the Aguastortas. Arrows and axes came out of the trees, and a thousand men fell before the three lords slipped back into the woods.

The answer came not from Orys but from Queen Rhaenys and her dragon Meraxes, who set the thicket ablaze to cut off their retreat. Buckler and Fell got clear of the fire and reached King Argilac Durrandon, though what they brought him was not a victory but the warning the dragon queen wanted him to hear.
