Faircastle is the seat of House Farman, standing on Fair Isle north of Casterly Rock, in the Westerlands.

During the Dance of the Dragons, Faircastle fell to Lord Dalton Greyjoy, who seized the seat of House Farman.
Dalton himself died within those same walls, killed by Tess in Lord Farman's own chamber.

Years later, while serving Ser Eustace Osgrey, the knight Dunk and his squire Egg considered heading for Faircastle to offer their swords to Lord Farman, helping him defend the castle against ironborn raids.
