House Vance of Atranta is a noble house of the Riverlands, seated at the castle of Atranta and sworn to House Baelish of Harrenhal.
It shares its surname with the Vances of Wayfarer's Rest, another river house that has followed its own path.

The Vances of Atranta descend from the Andals and answer to House Baelish of Harrenhal as lords of their seat. Their coat of arms is an unusual quartering: a green dragon on a white field and a white tower on a black field.

When the civil war known as the Dance of the Dragons split the realm in two, House Vance of Atranta stood with the Greens. No source confirms whether the green dragon on their arms marks that choice, but the coincidence is still noted.
The other branch of the name, House Vance of Wayfarer's Rest, bore black dragons on their own arms and chose the opposite side: the Blacks.
