Perianne Moore

Perianne entered Princess Saera Targaryen's household as a lady-in-waiting. Along with Alys Turnberry, she won the princess's affection, and by around 82 AC the three of them were counted among the best of friends at court. Saera nicknamed her Pretty Peri.

The group grew to include three more young people: Jonah Mooton, Roy Connington, and Braxton Beesbury. The six became inseparable, sharing feasts, hunts, and outings across the court. On one occasion they crossed Blackwater Bay to visit Dragonstone.

In 84 AC the scandal broke: an incident took place between Saera, her circle of friends, and Tom Turnip, the king's fool, at a brothel called the Blue Pearl. Queen Alysanne stepped in and had Perianne brought in for questioning.

Perianne broke down almost at once. Between tears and pleas for forgiveness, she said little about what had actually happened that night, but she let slip other things. She told how the girls used to play "kissing games" among themselves, later extended to the boys in the group. It also came out that Alys Turnberry was pregnant, though no one knew by whom.

In the wake of the scandal, a hasty marriage was arranged between Perianne and Jonah Mooton, one of the friends from the group. The match worked out better than its origins suggested, and the two of them ruled Maidenpool together.

When Saera escaped her confinement in Oldtown, King Jaehaerys I asked the couple to keep watch in case the princess turned up in the lands of her old friends. She was described as a pretty young woman, though not a particularly bright one.
