Ser Myles Mooton was squire and close friend to Prince Rhaegar Targaryen, who knighted him with his own hands. Brother to Lord William Mooton, he was known for a boldness that set him apart from his brother, and belonged to the circle at court that backed Rhaegar over King Aerys II.

Myles Mooton served as squire to Rhaegar Targaryen and earned a reputation for boldness, a trait that set him apart from his brother William. When he won his spurs, it was the prince himself who knighted him.
As part of Rhaegar's close following, he was counted among those at court who supported the prince over King Aerys II.
