Taking of Maidenpool by Daemon Targaryen

During the Dance of the Dragons, Prince Daemon Targaryen turned Maidenpool into a base of operations to hunt down Prince Aemond and his dragon Vhagar. He had two dragons for the task, Caraxes and Sheepstealer, the latter ridden by a young girl named Nettles.
The campaign broke down when Queen Rhaenyra herself grew distrustful of her own ally and called off the hunt before it could bear fruit.
Chapter 1
The headquarters at Maidenpool

Daemon TargaryenDaemon Targaryen set out to challenge Prince Aemond, rider of Vhagar, reasoning that only two dragons together could match such strength. He flew Caraxes into the Riverlands together with Nettles, who rode Sheepstealer, and the pair made Maidenpool their base.
From there they took to the sky every dawn to search the surrounding country for their quarry, repeating the same routine day after day without finding him.
Chapter 2
Nettles' flight

Manfryd MootonThe betrayals at Ladera fed Queen Rhaenyra's distrust, and she ended up accusing Nettles of high treason and ordering her seized.
Lord Manfryd Mooton, holder of Maidenpool, disobeyed that order and warned Daemon and the young dragonrider of the danger instead. The next morning Nettles mounted Sheepstealer and flew toward Crabfeeder's Bay; she was not seen again for the rest of the war.
