Wylla Manderly

Wylla is born in White Harbor, the younger daughter of Wylis Manderly and Leona Woolfield, and granddaughter of Lord Wyman Manderly.

The exact date is not recorded: the sources only allow her birth to be placed around the year 284.

Wylla is betrothed to Walder Frey the Younger, a squire of Ramsay Bolton, as part of the pardon the crown grants White Harbor and the peace settled under the reign of Tommen Baratheon.

When Lord Davos Seaworth appears before Lord Wyman Manderly in the Merman's Court to demand payment for what Robb Stark suffered at the Red Wedding, Wylla takes his side. Her grandfather is skeptical, but she declares herself in agreement with Davos, and when she openly refuses to marry Walder the Younger, he threatens to send her to the Silent Sisters.

Wylla answers by recalling the oath the Manderlys swore to the Starks centuries earlier, when they arrived in White Harbor driven out of the Reach: "When we were alone and friendless, when we had been driven from our home and our lives were in danger, the wolves took us in, fed us, and protected us from our enemies. This city was built on the lands they gave us, and in exchange we swore that we would always be loyal to them. To the Starks!" In the end, her own mother, Leona Woolfield, has to drag her out of the hall.

After faking Davos's execution and smuggling him out of his cell in the Wolf's Den, Wyman Manderly shows him what he truly thinks of the Freys and calls Wylla brave: "Wylla spoke from the heart."

Walder the Younger dies at Winterfell, and with him ends the betrothal Wylla never wanted.

She is described as a girl with long blonde hair, dyed a bright green and worn in braids, though her eyebrows keep their natural color. Her voice is thin and high.

Both in the Merman's Court and in her own grandfather's words, she is described as brave.
