King's Landing Riots

The King's Landing Riots were an uprising by the city's common people against those holding control of the capital in the year 130 After the Conquest, amid the disorder that followed the Targaryen succession war known as the Dance of the Dragons.
The riot ended with the mob in command of the streets and cost the lives of several of the lords who had been governing King's Landing until then, leaving the capital in the hands of new figures thrown up by the chaos itself.
Chapter 1
The city falls to the mob

In King's Landing, the common people rose against the faction known as the Blacks, then backed by Houses Manderly and Targaryen, who held the city under their rule.
The rioters ended up seizing control of the capital. Lorent Marbrand, Luthor Largent, Willam Royce, Glendon Goode and Gyles Yronwood died in the fighting. Among the notable figures caught up in those days were the Shepherd, Perkin the Flea and Trystane.
