Hobber Redwyne

Hobber is described as an unlovely-looking youth: red-haired, square-faced, and covered in freckles.

Before the war, he and his twin brother Ser Horas met Samwell Tarly when Samwell arrived at the Arbor to serve as a page. The two of them mocked him and made his life miserable.

When the war for the throne broke out, Lord Paxter Redwyne did not join Renly Baratheon's side: Hobber and Horas were being held in King's Landing as a guarantee of their father's loyalty. During the tourney held for Joffrey Baratheon's name day, Ser Meryn Trant unhorsed Hobber in the joust.

The twins tried to slip out of the city by ship, but Varys and Tyrion Lannister found out about the plan and stopped it in time. After Renly's death, Hobber was allowed to go with Petyr Baelish on his mission to win support at Bitterbridge, while Horas remained a captive in the capital. That gesture was enough for Lord Paxter to sail his fleet in and join the Tyrell host marching to defend King's Landing.

During the wedding of Margaery Tyrell to King Joffrey Baratheon, Hobber was among the guests. He was later called to testify at Tyrion Lannister's trial for Joffrey's death, as a witness for the prosecution: he said he had seen Tyrion refill the king's cup during the feast.

After Lord Tywin Lannister's death, Hobber, Horas, and their father attended his funeral. In the months that followed, the twins often visited Queen Margaery Tyrell, bringing her fruit, flowers, and lute music.

As part of her scheme against Margaery, Queen Cersei Lannister had a warrant ready for Ser Horas's arrest. After the brothers were taken into custody, Hobber and Horas were given comfortable rooms to be held in.
