Mycah Umber

Mycah Umber was born in 190 AC, the second son of Lord Hothor Umber and Lady Amarylis Manderly, in a family with six other brothers.

As a young man he traded his surname for the black cloak of the Night's Watch, the order that guards the Wall at the northern edge of the Seven Kingdoms.

Mycah was born in 190 AC, the second son of Lord Hothor Umber and Lady Amarylis Manderly.

He had six brothers, Harkon, Lucan, Gareth, Joseth, Regan, and Corin, all sons, making for an unusually large Umber brood.

Chapter 2

The Night's Watch and the edge of the north

While still young, Mycah traded his surname for the black of the Night's Watch.

He served in the order until his death in 295 AC, killed in a skirmish north of Castle Black against wildling raiders.
