Cedric Umber
Cedric Umber carries the name of one of the great houses of the north, keepers of the frozen lands that stretch up to the Wall.
Little survives of him beyond a family tree: a son of Joseth Umber and Katrina Cerwyn, and brother to Maynard, known only through the screen.

Cedric was the second son born to Joseth Umber and Katrina Cerwyn, younger than his brother Maynard. His place in the family is recorded only in the lineage chart that accompanies House Umber, among the genealogies of the great houses of the Seven Kingdoms.
The written saga never mentions him: no page of the original novels carries the name Cedric Umber. His existence belongs entirely to the television adaptation.
