Iain Umber
Not to be confused with Iain Umber (son of Iain).
Iain Umber was a member of House Umber, son of Gareth Umber and Hollys Tallhart, born at Last Hearth. He earned a reputation as a fearsome warrior, tempered by the Northern Wars that took up much of his adult life.
He married Arwen Swann, with whom he had at least one son, who was given his own name.

The son of Last Hearth

He was born in the year 230 at Last Hearth, his house's stronghold in the North, the son of Gareth Umber and Hollys Tallhart. Among his siblings were Emilia, Brandon, Finn, and Morgana.
In time he married Arwen Swann. That marriage produced at least one son, who was given his own name.
Chapter 2
The dread of the Northern Wars

He earned a reputation as a warrior no one wanted to cross, and spent much of his adult life fighting in the Northern Wars.
The wounds he suffered in that conflict killed him in the year 270, at Queen's Crown.
