Ser Raylon Rivers was an acknowledged bastard of House Bracken, son of Lord Humfrey Bracken, lord of Stone Hedge. His story belongs to the Dance of the Dragons, the Targaryen civil war that brought fighting into the Riverlands and left his family caught between loyalty to the Greens and survival.
Battle of Burnt Mill
When the Dance of the Dragons broke out, House Bracken sided with the Greens. War struck the family early: Ser Amos Bracken died at the battle of the Fiery Ford.
Raylon, Lord Humfrey's acknowledged bastard, gathered the household's survivors from that defeat and led them back to Stone Hedge.

Prince Daemon Targaryen stormed Stone Hedge and took Lord Humfrey captive, along with his remaining children, his third wife, and his mistress.
Raylon surrendered to Daemon so that his captured kin would be spared.
