Jerrel Bracken
Jerrel Bracken was the son of Lord Humfrey Bracken of Stone Hedge, and the younger brother of Amos Bracken.
He presented himself at Storm's End among the nobles seeking the hand of Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, heir to the Iron Throne, where he traded words with another suitor, Willem Blackwood, in a confrontation that ended with swords drawn.

The suitor from Stone Hedge

Jerrel was the younger son of Lord Humfrey Bracken, lord of Stone Hedge and head of one of the most powerful houses in the Riverlands. His elder brother, Amos, stood to inherit the lordship.
When Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen toured the realm in search of a husband, Jerrel travelled to Storm's End, seat of House Baratheon in the Stormlands, to put himself forward as one of her suitors.

The insult to Willem Blackwood

Among the suitors gathered at Storm's End was also Willem Blackwood, a young man from the Bracken family's rival house in the Riverlands. When Rhaenyra turned down his courtship, Jerrel joined the onlookers' laughter and, as Willem withdrew, called him a coward.
Willem answered by drawing his sword. Jerrel did the same and managed to knock him down, but before the duel was over, Willem ran him through and killed him.
