Roland Darry
Roland Darry was Lord of Darry during the Dance of the Dragons, the civil war that pitted the Targaryens loyal to Rhaenyra against those of her brother Aegon II.
His house, seated along the Trident, was drawn into the war's final and bloodiest movements, when several riverlords marched together toward King's Landing.

After the Second Battle of Ladera, Roland inherited the lordship of Darry, though it is not known exactly how or when the succession from Lord Derrick Darry took place.
He was thus left in charge of his lands in a realm still split by the war among the Targaryens.

Borros BaratheonWith the war nearing its end and Rhaenyra Targaryen already dead, Roland joined the column of river lords who answered Lord Elmo Tully's call. Together they marched toward King's Landing, fearing that Aegon II would take revenge on those who had backed his sister during the conflict.
The expedition never reached its destination. At the Battle of the Kingsroad, Lord Borros Baratheon killed Roland.
