Mariya Darry

Mariya was born a daughter of the Lord of Darry; both he and his father before him had held that same title.

Sources the house's own tradition treats as less certain place her as a sister of Raymun and Jeyne Darry, and of the latter she was the elder sister. Her three older brothers died in the Battle of the Trident.

She married Merrett Frey, a match she herself has found disappointing. The marriage produced four children: three daughters and a son. One daughter was stillborn, and another died as a child.

She is described as an attractive woman with streaks of grey already showing in her hair.

After one of her daughters married Ser Lancel Lannister, Mariya remained at Darry Castle. She was present when Ser Jaime Lannister came to visit.
