Durran XI Durrandon
Durran XI Durrandon was King of the Storm and head of House Durrandon, heir to the throne of his father, Monfryd I Durrandon.
Those who set down his history remember him by the nickname the Sluggish, a label that outweighs almost every other fact preserved about him.
Chapter 1
The sluggish heir
Books only
When Monfryd I Durrandon died, the storm crown passed to his son, who took the name Durran XI.
House Durrandon had held that throne for generations, and it fell to him to carry it on. His own subjects soon took to calling him the Sluggish, a name that stuck in the accounts written after him.
Chapter 2
The dwindling reign
Books only
His father had pushed the borders of the Storm outward through conquest, but under Durran XI that land began to shrink.
He lost what Monfryd had won, and lost besides ground that had belonged to House Durrandon before his reign began. When he died, the throne passed to his son Barron, with no record of how that end came about.
