Fall of the Wall at Eastwatch

caída del Muro en Guardiaoriente

In 304 AC, the Night King leads the Army of the Dead to Eastwatch-by-the-Sea, the castle guarding the easternmost end of the Wall, riding a dragon already under his command. He brings the fortress down, tearing open a breach through which the dead cross into the Seven Kingdoms.

It is the point where the barrier that had held back the White Walkers for thousands of years gives way for the first time.

Chapter 1

Blue fire over the Wall

304 ACShow only

The Night King rides his army to Eastwatch-by-the-Sea, the stronghold that closes the eastern end of the Wall. He arrives mounted on the dragon that was once Viserion, now turned into a creature of ice in his service.

From above, the dragon breathes blue fire against the fortification. The castle falls, and with it the easternmost stretch of the Wall collapses, opening a path through which the Army of the Dead enters the Seven Kingdoms.
