House Blackmont of Blackmont
Casa Blackmont de Montenegro
Blackmont rises in southern Dorne, and from there its lords serve House Martell as bannermen. Their banner is one of the strangest in Westeros: a black vulture holding a pink infant in its claws, on a field of gold.
It is a minor house among Dorne's great names, yet its lords turn up at Martell's side whenever the ruling house needs to show strength: riding with Prince Oberyn to King's Landing, or among the children Prince Doran keeps closest at the Water Gardens.
