Lucas Blackwood was the second son of Lord Tytos Blackwood of Raventree Hall. He was part of the escort that accompanied Lady Catelyn Tully on her journey south to meet with King Renly Baratheon, and later attended the wedding of Edmure Tully.

Later, when Raventree Hall surrendered, Ser Jaime Lannister gave his word to Lord Tytos Blackwood that Lucas's body would be returned to his family, to be buried beneath the tree that gives the castle its name.
