The heir for a day

Aemma Arryn died giving birth to Baelon, named after the boy's grandfather, Prince Baelon Targaryen. The newborn survived his mother by only a single day.
With the court still in mourning for the queen and the infant prince, Daemon Targaryen was seen drinking on the Street of Silk with fellow highborn companions, joking about "the heir for a day". When the jest reached Viserys, the king flew into a rage, cast his brother aside as heir and named his daughter Rhaenyra in his place.
