House Shawney is a noble house of the Riverlands, sworn to House Baelish of Harrenhal.
Little is remembered of the family beyond its coat of arms and the side it took in one of the Blackfyre Rebellions, the one episode that still lifts it out of anonymity among the region's minor nobility.

The Shawneys serve House Baelish, lords of Harrenhal, within the web of lesser houses scattered across the Riverlands.
Their arms divide the field into three bands of azure, vert and gules above a silver catfish on a field of sable, a design that, according to semi-canonical sources, refers to the three branches of the Trident running through the region.

The Blackfyre Rebellion

When the Blackfyre Rebellion broke out, House Shawney declared for Daemon Blackfyre, joining the lords who backed his claim against the throne in King's Landing.
