Jon Waters
On this tab
Ser Jon Mares was a knight born of the union between Lord Alyn Velaryon and Princess Elaena Targaryen, coming into the world alongside a twin sister, Jeyne Mares, who shared his surname.
That surname passed to his own son as well, who lengthened it and sought to clean it — a great knight determined to free the family from the shadow that followed it.
Birth
Jon was born of the bond between Lord Alyn Velaryon and Princess Elaena Targaryen. Alongside him came a twin sister, Jeyne Mares, with whom he shared his surname from birth.

Adult life
As an adult he earned renown as a knight. He married and had a son, born within that marriage, who lengthened the Mares surname and himself became a knight of standing, resolved to clear his family of the taint of bastardy that clung to them.
Jon is no longer alive; the account does not say how or when his days ended.
