Execution of Vaemond
Vaemond Velaryon comes before the court to dispute who should hold Driftmark, challenging the claim of the heirs Rhaenyra Targaryen supports.
Daemon Targaryen does not argue the point: he draws his sword and takes his head then and there, in front of everyone. The dispute ends with that blade, not with a verdict.
