House Uffering

House Uffering is counted among the many Andal lineages that took root in the Reach after crossing the Narrow Sea, in the days when Kings Garth IX Gardener, Merle I Gardener and Gwayne V Gardener granted wives and lands to the adventurers who had come to the region.

Today the house swears fealty to the Tyrells of Highgarden, overlords of every house in the Reach, though no source attributes to it a castle or a seat of its own. Of its warlike origin only the arms remain: a barry of oak and iron beneath a silver chief bearing seven green hands.
