Leo Tyrell is the son of Ser Victor Tyrell, a distant cousin of Lord Mace Tyrell, placing him on a branch far removed from the main line of House Tyrell.

He is known chiefly for his marriage to Alys Beesbury and the large family they raised together.

Leo is the son of Ser Victor Tyrell, whose kinship to Lord Mace Tyrell is that of a distant cousin, not part of the direct line ruling Highgarden.

He married Alys Beesbury, and together they had five children: Lyonel, Alla, Lucas, Lorent, and Leona.
