House Footly of Tumbleton is a minor house of the Reach, sworn to House Tyrell, seated in the city of Tumbleton.

Its place in history is marked by two wars centuries apart: first as a black banner in the Dance of the Dragons, later as southern support for Renly Baratheon in the War of the Five Kings.

Betrayals of Tumbleton

During the Dance of the Dragons, House Footly sided with the Blacks and backed Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen's claim to the Iron Throne.

That loyalty came at a price: Tumbleton burned under dragonfire in the events known as the Betrayals of Tumbleton. Lord Footly's castle guard surrendered to the Greens, but the surrender did not save them — they were seized and beheaded.

Support for Renly

Centuries later, when the War of the Five Kings broke out, House Footly took sides again: this time backing Renly Baratheon's claim to the crown.
