Alla Tyrell

Alla Tyrell is born in 287, the eldest daughter of Ser Leo Tyrell and Alys Beesbury. Through her father she descends from Ser Victor Tyrell, a cousin of Lord Mace Tyrell, the head of House Tyrell.

She is described as a pretty, shy young woman, close in age to Sansa Stark. She often keeps company with her cousin Elinor Tyrell, has a fine singing voice, plays the harp, and sometimes trades kisses in play with her cousin Megga Tyrell.

While still quite young, Alla becomes part of Queen Margaery Tyrell's close retinue and keeps her company often at the court in King's Landing.

She is present at the wedding between Sansa Stark and Tyrion Lannister, a match the Tyrells had not wanted — they had hoped to see Sansa married to Willas Tyrell instead. At the feast that follows, she and her cousins turn their backs on the bride to make their displeasure known.

In A Feast for Crows, Alla attends the wedding of Queen Margaery to young King Tommen and dances with both of them. At court she becomes a subject of gossip: she is known to sing often with the queen, and a knight, Ser Tallad the Tall, shows interest in her and her cousin Elinor, even escorting her on one of the queen's rides. When Cersei Lannister brings word that Ser Loras has been badly wounded during the siege of Dragonstone, Alla runs from the room.

Cersei then forces the Blue Bard to claim that Margaery and her cousins have slept with numerous men; of Alla, the accusation only says that she watched and tried to talk the queen out of it. Taena of Myr tries, unsuccessfully, to get Alla to confess and testify against Margaery. It is Cersei who ultimately has the Faith of the Seven imprison Margaery and her cousins, Alla among them.

By the time of A Dance with Dragons, nearly all the men named as the queen's lovers have recanted or denied the charge.

The High Sparrow then hands Margaery and her cousins, Alla included, over to the custody of Randyll Tarly, who swears to bring them back for trial.
