Born to Ser Aenys Frey and Tyana Wylde, this Frey scion did not follow the path expected of his house. He abandoned any settled life and ended up living off plunder, an existence that earned him the name he is remembered by: Aegon the Bloody.

As the eldest son of Aenys Frey and Tyana Wylde, Aegon might have inherited a comfortable place among the sprawling Frey kin. Instead, he took to the wilds and survived by raiding and thieving.
That wandering, violent life left him with a name that replaced his given one: Aegon the Bloody, as he is known among his own.
