Arwyn Frey is born in 285 at the Twins, daughter of Lord Walder Frey and his seventh wife, Annara Farring.

She is one of House Frey's many daughters, and her name appears in the story through her presence at the family seat when Robb Stark arrives at the Twins for Edmure Tully's wedding.

Birth

Arwyn is born in 285, the sixth daughter Lord Walder Frey counts as his own and the first he has with Annara Farring, his seventh wife. In a house with so many children, hers is just one more place among dozens of siblings and half-siblings.

Merrett Frey recounts that within the family it is rumored Annara was the lover of Black Walder Rivers, and that the rumor casts doubt on whose children she truly bore Lord Walder. Arwyn grows up, then, under a suspicion that is never confirmed.

Wedding of Edmure Tully
