Derwa Frey

Derwa Frey is one of the many daughters of Lord Walder Frey, lord of the Twins and head of House Frey. Her name is tied to the pact meant to bind House Stark to the Freys through marriage, an arrangement that was never honoured.

When Lady Catelyn Tully negotiated with Lord Walder Frey for the Northern armies to cross the Twins, it was agreed that young Robb Stark, already proclaimed King in the North, would marry one of Lord Walder's daughters or granddaughters. Derwa was among the candidates that agreement could have bound to the crown of the North.

The marriage never took place: Robb broke the pledge by marrying another woman instead. When he returned to the Twins, this time for his uncle Edmure Tully's wedding to one of Lord Walder's daughters, Robb addressed the Frey women, Derwa among them, to apologise for not keeping his promise.
